BFI London - TRT 90min

Jean-Luc Godard’s creative trajectory is characterised by increasing formal and structural experimentation, yet he’s rarely considered an ‘experimental filmmaker.’ In this talk, leading film theorist and curator Nicole Brenez and Independant Film maker Peter Whitehead will consider his work from the 1970s onwards within a wider artistic context marked by video art pioneers such as Peter Whitehead, Dan Sandin, Richard Serra and the Videofreex collective.
